You get regular doctor visits, all the needed blood work, urine and swab checks, plus ultrasound scans along the way. It is one simple package that covers what a mother needs at each stage of pregnancy, so you don’t have to worry about arranging separate tests here and there.
Pregnancy Follow-Up Package Includes
- Doctor visits with an Obstetrician, up to 12 times through your pregnancy
- Blood tests, which cover:
- Full blood count, done twice (at 12 and 36 weeks)
- Hemoglobin check (at 28 weeks)
- Blood group test
- Antibody screening, done twice (at 12 and 28 weeks)
- VDRL test
- HIV 1/2 ABS test
- HBsAg test
- Rubella IgG test
- Random blood glucose check
- Glucose tolerance test, done once (between 20 and 28 weeks)
- Urine test to check for infection
- Vaginal swab test, done once (at 37 weeks)
- Ultrasound scans at the clinic, done twice (at 28 and 34 to 36 weeks)
- A detailed growth scan at 20 weeks
- A labor preparation session with a midwife at 34 weeks
